The Journey

My journey with food began not in a commercial kitchen, but in the vibrant, spice scented heart of my family home in Kharak Azad Kashmir. Here, I learned that food is the language of love, community, and celebration. It is a lesson that has guided every step of my life and ultimately led to the creation of Subhan Catering. When I moved to the UK and worked in restaurants, I honed my skills but grew disheartened by the catering at community events. The food often lacked the soul and authenticity we cherished. I founded Subhan Catering to bridge that gap to offer genuine Pakistani cuisine that honours our traditions and brings people together through unforgettable taste.

I arrived in the UK with a passion for authentic Pakistani flavours honed in my grandmother’s kitchen. But at weddings and community events, I saw the same disappointment: food that lacked soul, that bore little resemblance to true home cooking. That gap between what was available and what I knew was possible sparked Subhan Catering. I wanted to create a catering service that never compromised, that understood the cultural significance of a Nikah ceremony or the joy of an Eid celebration, and that could deliver restaurant quality taste whether serving 50 guests or 500.

The best spices are nothing without quality ingredients to accompany them. We use only 100% fresh, quality Halal meat from suppliers we have trusted for years. Our vegetables are sourced daily, and we refuse to use frozen or pre prepared shortcuts. This ensures every curry, every kebab, and every grain of rice in our legendary biryani meets the highest standard of freshness and flavour.
